God Internal
One of the reasons I started this blog is I wanted a safe space to share some things that I have learned. I think the more we learn, the more creative we can be as practitioners when using Lloyd’s amazing work.
I have been itching to share the healing technique called Internal Moving Healing and today is the day!! The book is authored by Robert Harry Hover and is a stand alone healing technique that requires nothing other than YOU and your Internal God. It’s NOT a visualization technique. It’s NOT using your imagination! It is simply a ‘going inside’ which is a forgotten tool that we have always had.
Hover gives a good explanation by reminding us that we knew how to do this as children. Take two kids playing as an example. They are both having fun and they both fall and scuff their knees at the same time. The one child starts to cry. He runs to his parent to be consoled, to get a Band-Aid, and to rest in their care. Nothing wrong with that. He did what was right for him. The other child, however, is having too much fun and is a bit annoyed by the scuffed knee and the pain response it is creating. He decides to internally PUSH OUT the pain. So, he goes in, finds the spot, and basically banishes it into oblivion!! GONE! The pain is gone in an instant and he resumes playing. All is good.
But what exactly did this boy do that so quickly alleviated his pain?
According to Robert Harry Hover, he pushed out what’s called Faint Matter.
We all know from the Emotion Code and other modalities that energy gets stuck in the body. This stuck energy, or faint matter, creates problems. Faint Matter is tenuous stuff that is almost always associated with the regions of trouble in your body. You can see it when your eyes are closed. It’s not imaginary, it’s very real stuff that we just don’t have a way of measuring. Often you see it internally as a blob, a fuzz, or an object, or something at the site of the trouble. We tend to pass this off as figures-of-speech and give it little thought. But people who can trigger their accelerated healing naturally, are working with this faint matter. They move on it and dissipate it, and remove their trouble, without any side effects!
Let me explain a little more about what internal moving of faint matter is. The general instruction is you must go in and touch the faint matter. It is easy for us to ‘touch’ the outside of our body, but we act like we’re going to another planet when asked to touch something inside. lol. If I hit my funny bone I might grab my elbow in pain. That’s external touching. Internally it is the same thing, I can make contact from the inside by immediately going to that spot, eyes closed, touch it, determine the area of concern and then work to dissipate it.
I’ll give you a personal example. I had been having pain in my lower abdomen and couldn’t figure out why. Colon? Ovaries? Pelvis? Then I remembered IMH (Internal Moving Healing) and I realized I didn’t really need to know why, but just that there was faint matter in that area. So, I went into the region. I found that the faint matter stretched from one side of the abdomen to the other. It was penetrable which is important. I followed the edges which in this case were clearly defined, until I completely surrounded it. I then started to nibble at it from one end. Yes, nibble! I could have ‘planed’ it like you would plane a piece of wood, but I decided nibbling it was more fun. As I nibbled away, I felt the pain subside on the one side. I kept at it, nibble, nibble. I got to the other side and DONE! No need to give it a name, the pain was gone. But the most important thing that I did was I went IN. I didn’t visualize going in, I didn’t imagine going in. I was INSIDE. Silly to me now that we are so in belief of being treated from the outside (drugs, supplements, massage, chiropractor, etc.) that we have completely forgotten that we have an inside that we can also touch and treat by ‘going inside’.
To quote Hover:
” Pains and troubles are due to local imbalances occurring in the minutiae, the life-function. Symptoms are external descriptors of those pains and troubles. Within its range, Internal Moving removes the faint matter “by means not understood”, which restores local life-function, rids pains and troubles and re-establishes behavioral well-being without generating new imbalances, pains or troubles elsewhere in the body, systems, or minutiae.”
I am both the outside and the inside of my body! I can touch both. Why have we forgotten this?
What I love about IMH is its simplicity. You simply be silent, don’t move, go in, BE THERE, touch the area, figure out its shape and a few more things. Then you get to work. Hover gives you a couple ways of working; you can nibble at it, plane, push it out and a few others. Some troubles are finished in one session - faint matter gone. Some troubles require more than one session. Very few are ‘impenetrable and inborn’.
His book is a fascinating read although somewhat hard to follow as it’s written in the voice of an engineer. I still highly recommend it for you and your clients because in the book he gives several dialogued examples of sessions he did with clients.
