Fluoride
Back in 2004, Orlando commissioners held a public meeting to discuss adding fluoride to our drinking water. I went and I was the only one to speak against it. I was quoted in the local Newspaper as saying “ It's more toxic than lead, and just a little less toxic than arsenic” (which is true!) and I was then labeled an anti-fluoride activist, hahaha . A badge I wore with honor!
So this morning I came upon a study using Tamarind to remove fluoride from the body.
Seems like every silly thing we do as humans, mother earth has an antidote. It’s almost as if the Universe knows in advance the stupid things we will do and is waiting, ready to offer it's assistance.
Tamarind is one of those gifts.
I wish we had a number for Tamarind but we do not. Not only does it help remove fluoride from your body through your urine, it’s also being used to clean up waterways that have been polluted with fluoride. It’s rich in B vitamins and magnesium. It aids in digestion and is good for the heart.
You can buy Tamarind in a paste or even as a tincture. If you’ve had the classic Thai dish Pad Thai then you’ve already tasted Tamarind. It’s sour with a slightly citrusy taste. I just bought some Tamarind Tincture on Etsy and I plan to add it to sparkling water for a refreshing drink.
Back to Fluoride for a minute. The fluoride they add to your drinking water either comes from China or the phosphate fertilizer plants, many of which are here in Florida. It’s a waste product that they desperately need to get rid of. If they had to get rid of it properly they would have to handle it as a Hazardous Waste! Let that sink in.
”The solution to pollution is dilution.” What a dumb concept! Especially when it comes to fluoride. It’s already in many of the foods and drinks that you consume. Lowers IQ, damages the thyroid and accumulates in your bones. Even your fluoride toothpaste tube says “don’t swallow, call poison control". Go look, lol. So why are we still putting it in our water supply!?
Think I’ll make me a Tamarind spritzer and contemplate this.
Thanks for reading!
